This day will be all about that all in important breath. The breath is one of our most valuable tools for calming and soothing the mind but is a tool the vast majority of us forget about. Yoga is all about the breath, but how well do you use it when you are moving through a series of postures or trying out something new for the first time? Throughout the day we will follow a very fluid and free flowing sequence, encouraging you to tune in with your own breath and rhythm and notice how this seemingly simple technique helps bring about a sense of wellness and calm.
The day will consist of two asana practices; a faster flowing sequence in the morning and then a yin based series in the afternoon; alongside meditation, relaxation and a vegetarian lunch. Throughout the day we will take the time to explore various breathing techniques, learning how these can help deepen your meditation and asana practice.
As always, any level and ability is welcome, I will always give variations and adjustments for those who need them.
